  • Northwest Arts Center 9825 Northeast 24th Street Bellevue, WA, 98004 United States (map)

Infants, toddlers and twos need to feel safe and supported in order to take risks. They discover new skills and knowledge through interaction with the environment. They develop social-emotional skills through contact with adults and other children, through trusting, caring relationships. Facilitated by certified MERIT trainer, Candice Hoyt, owner-director of Toolbox for Teaching/Busy Little Crickets teacher and parent education. You will learn about theory and build skills for developing relationships with children ages 0-36 months, including a self-evaluation of what you currently do. There will be time allotted to discuss specific challenges faced in your classrooms.
